RUUT KIERTO - When sorting recyclable materials already starts at home. With RUUT KIERTO we developed a functional aesthetic recycling solution designed for the home environment in which practicality goes hand in hand with the use of beautiful colours and materials.
The RUUT KIERTO recycle rack system is designed to make sorting recyclable materials easier. The bags are made from recycled tarps that come in five different colours matching the system’s hooks. They are easy to wash, durable and versatile.
The wooden parts of the KIERTO recycle rack are made of Finnish birch or oak, sourced from surplus wood from Finnish carpentry workshops. They are treated with beeswax and painted by hand with domestic linseed oil paint.

RUUT Kierto | canopy
The RUUT KIERTO canopy is designed to blend in and harmonise with the surrounding area and buildings. Our attractive green-roofed recycling canopies are suited for back yards and urban green spaces.
The RUUT KIERTO canopy entity consists of modules which can easily be adapted to specific environments. The colour of the canopy can be matched to that of the main building and the whole construction can also be fitted with customised doors, lighting fixtures and other details.
The green roof concept is a key part of the RUUT KIERTO canopy. Suitable plant species for the roof that bloom from spring to autumn can be selected by a landscape architect according to style and growth preferences. As well as its pleasant look and feel, a green roof also slows down the flow of rainwater.
Green roofs thus expand existing urban green spaces and at the same time create new habitats for precious pollinators.
